Our dog G, has been able to teleport, ever since we rescued him as a puppy. That's kind of why we named him "G." While we were driving G to his new home, already with two cats in our house, Veronica said, " I see you, looking all gangster and cool sitting in the backseat all alone." "We should name you The Great Gatsby, or "G, for short." G actually started to rise above the backseat all the way to the car roof. We were both, shocked and amazed at the same time.
However, somehow NASA found out about his powers, and soon after we rescued G as a puppy and they threatened to take our G puppy away.
NASA visited our home, late one night and threatened to take G away from us, unless we signed an agreement to never allow G to use his power to teleport "for good." Little did we know that this "for good" agreement legally meant our little G puppy could never use his powers to teleport, ever again. We unknowingly, agreed to sign the agreement to not let G use his powers at all, not for good and not even for fun, ever again.
Apparently, NASA was embarrassed to admit that G was smarter than their smartest scientists. They even threated to cut off G's tail, which would mean, other dogs would not know that G is very friendly and they would be fighting all the time. As G's foster parents, we could not allow this to happen. So my daughter, Veronica, and I reluctantly signed the agreement with NASA.
We still had lots of fun with G, playing in our fenced-in yard, mostly with our family and friends. G really liked playing with the children. G was so smart and fast, we could never catch him or win, when playing ball. G was really nice too, he would always give us a chance to get the ball or toys when playing. In fact, G was so smart, fast and nice, we thought about taking out in public more often, because G really loved everyone. But, we were always afraid that NASA would be watching us and they would make their threats come true.
Finally, Veronica and our family decided to make some moves of our own. Veronica is a Director of Special Olympics, I am a retired Health and Safety Inspector, Play Safety Expert and PA School Safety and Security Assessor, the rest of our family includes a social worker, IU teacher, an engineer with the U S Navy and a stay- at-home parent/educator/homemaker of 4 amazing young children and 3 cats, so we formed our own forces for good and for G's rights., as a fellow animal.
We contacted PETA and the ASPCA secretly and we put our plans into action. We formulated a goal plan with all of G's strengths and the needs or benefits that G can provide for our society and country. It was a no-brainer for NASA to withdraw the agreement, and let G live his best life, as nature intended.
So, if you sometimes see G teleporting around town, it's just G being G and we are all living more happily ever after.
"G's" Family.
