A Tale of our dog "G"

A Tale of our dog "G."
Our dog G, has been able to teleport, ever since we rescued him as a puppy.  That's kind of why we named him "G." While we were driving G to his new home, already with two cats in our house, Veronica said, " I see you, looking all gangster and cool sitting in the backseat all alone." "We should name you The Great Gatsby, or "G, for short." G actually started to rise above the backseat all the way to the car roof.  We were both, shocked and amazed at the same time.
However, somehow NASA  found out about his powers, and  soon after we rescued G as a puppy and they threatened to take our G puppy away.
NASA visited our home, late one night and threatened to take G away from us, unless we signed an agreement to never allow G to use his power to teleport "for good."  Little did we know that this "for good" agreement legally meant our little G puppy could never use his powers to teleport, ever again.  We unknowingly, agreed to sign the agreement to not let G use his powers at all, not for good and not even for fun, ever again.
Apparently, NASA was embarrassed  to admit that G was smarter than their smartest scientists.  They even threated to cut off G's tail, which would mean, other dogs would not know that G is very friendly and they would be fighting all the time.  As G's foster parents, we could not allow this to happen.  So my daughter, Veronica,  and I reluctantly signed the agreement with NASA.
We still had lots of fun with G, playing in our fenced-in yard, mostly with our family and friends.  G really liked playing with the children.  G was so smart and fast, we could never catch him or win, when playing ball.  G was really nice too, he would always give us a chance to get the ball or toys when playing.  In fact, G was so smart, fast and nice, we thought about taking out in public more often, because G really loved everyone.  But, we were always afraid that NASA would be watching us and they would make their threats come true.
Finally, Veronica and our family decided to make some moves of our own.  Veronica is a Director of Special Olympics, I am a retired Health and Safety Inspector, Play Safety Expert and PA School Safety and Security Assessor, the rest of our family includes a social worker, IU teacher, an engineer with the U S Navy and a stay- at-home parent/educator/homemaker of 4 amazing young children and 3 cats, so we formed our own forces for good and for G's rights., as a fellow animal.
We contacted PETA and the ASPCA secretly and we put our plans into action.  We formulated a goal plan with all of G's strengths and the needs or benefits that G can provide for our society and country.  It was a no-brainer for NASA to withdraw the agreement, and let G live his best life, as nature intended.
So, if you sometimes see G teleporting around town, it's just G being G and we are all living more happily ever after.
"G's" Family.

A Tale of Two Towns.

A Tale of Two Towns - Funtown and Dumtown.
Once upon a time, the leaders of two neighboring towns gave $5 to 100 of their important essential residents to do whatever they wished.
The residents of Dumtown wanted to take their chances with some new lottery machines that had all kinds of game tickets that were colorful, with silly names and quick results.  These games paid out 50% of the money played. All 100 residents quickly bought a $5 ticket and one lucky person won $250.  Everybody was happy for this person, but some were a little sad because they didn't win.  Some bought more tickets on their own.
Now, the residents of Funtown heard about a new game that just came into town and was offering plain tickets that paid 2 times the amount paid by the fancy machines or $500 for a $5 ticket.  Everyone of the Funtown players, bought these tickets and one lucky person won $500.  Knowing about the Dumtown experience, this person put $250 in the bank and threw a party for the other players with the other $250 of the lucky winnings.
Everyone in Funtown, had a great gathering that day and looked forward to playing another day.

Yes America, we are getting dumb and dumber.

Yes America, we are getting dumb and dumber.
I believe this to be true, from experience and as evidenced, by how we play the lottery games.
We all know this to be true too, because this is an addiction and we are playing against all odds.
For example, take the PA Lottery Pick 2 game.
GAME DESCRIPTION
Have fun every day with the PA PICK 2, one of the PA Lottery games with great prizes and chances of winning! You can try to match the winning Lottery numbers twice a day by playing PICK 2 Day and PICK 2 Evening, and it’s really easy.
The truth:
If you make a straight bet of $1.00 and win, the payout is $50.00. This is because, there are 100 possibilities for 2 digits, (00 to 99). Therefore, the PA Lottery Pick 2, odds of winning are 100 to 1 and the PA Lottery payout is 50% or $50.00. This is easy and all lottery game payouts are based on the same odds. Playing these games are dumb, but the PA Lottery does donate or designate some of the profits to our seniors and we all love our seniors.
I am a senior too, so I'm not complaining or proposing any changes at this time, but playing this PA Lottery game is dumb!
Now, compare the PA Lottery Pick 2 game, with the FANS 4 HELP nonprofit 2 digit lottery game. The FANS 4 HELP game is still fun, with greater prizes and the same chances of winning, 100 to 1, and it's really easy. However, the FANS 4 HELP payout is 100% and the payout for a $1.00 straight bet is $100.00. This can be done, because FANS 4 HELP is a PA nonprofit and all the proceeds go back to the players or winning player. Not playing the FANS 4 HELP 2 digit lottery game is dumber!?
Also, there are more great reasons to play the FANS 4 HELP 2 digit lottery game. FANS 4 HELP can focus more on helping our essential workers and essential services, along with our helpful and struggling businesses. FANS 4 HELP can place more limits on these games, while changing the results from addictions to donations and from problems to more solutions.
Let's get smart and smarter, America!
Have fun, stay safer, and stay healthier, America,

Wake-Up Everybody, it should be, "saving the light of day time." Yes everybody, "the light of day" phrase means the following!
1. to be published, disseminated, or made available to the public in some way.
2. to be born; to come into existence.
3. to be thought of or discovered by somebody or become known to a lot of people at a particular time.
So, let's save this thought and what better way to make available an important thought or discovery, than to publish it for a lot of people at a particular time in a newspaper?
Well, my friends, the time is always Now, for life-saving thoughts. opinions and discoveries. Don't you think?
Let's see which of our newspapers will deliver this thought daily, to help save and better our lives. Don't you think all newspapers should publish all thought-provoking and helpful ideas or opinions. Instead of following their agreed upon policy of only accepting opinions that weren't already published by another newspaper. Don't you think all newspaper readers matter and deserve having their well-thought-out opinions published?
Newspaper editors, don't you think?
